TAT2NUMB was built around one problem: most numbing creams weren't made for tattooing. They were made for minor procedures and repurposed. We started from the formula up.
The Formula
Three active ingredients. Each one doing a specific job.
Most OTC numbing products use one agent at a diluted concentration. TAT2NUMB uses lidocaine at the maximum 4% allowed without a prescription, combined with prilocaine for extended duration and epinephrine to slow absorption and hold the numbing window open through longer sessions.
Lidocaine Base
Blocks sodium channels in nerve cell membranes, preventing pain signals from reaching the brain. The industry standard at maximum OTC concentration: 4%.
Prilocaine Base
Works synergistically with lidocaine to prolong the numbing window. Provides deeper tissue penetration for longer sessions.
Epinephrine
Constricts blood vessels to slow absorption, keeping the active agents working longer and reducing surface bleeding during the procedure.
What We Stand For
Maximum Strength
Lidocaine 4% is the highest concentration available over the counter. We built the formula around that ceiling, not below it.
Multi-Agent Formula
Lidocaine alone has limits. Adding prilocaine extends the duration. Adding epinephrine keeps the agents working longer by slowing absorption. Three ingredients doing three jobs.
Single-Use Only
Jars get contaminated. Every TAT2NUMB packet is sealed, sterile, and single-use. Professional studios don't reuse applicators — we built the packaging to match that standard.
Built for Sessions
A 20-minute patch job needs something different than a 3-hour sleeve. TAT2NUMB was formulated for the long ones.

Why Single-Use Packets
The tattoo industry holds itself to sterile standards. Needles are single-use. Ink caps are single-use. TAT2NUMB follows the same logic. Each 0.35oz packet is sealed at manufacture and used once. No contamination between clients. No degraded formula from repeated air exposure. No guessing on dosage.
